Is it just me? Maybe it's just me. Either way, I can't help but feel that Checkpoint Church is at an exciting turning point. We're nearly at five hundred followers on Twitch. Our community is growing on Discord and on Facebook. I feel like we are all really getting to know one another in an awesome way. And it might be time for a new evolution.
My favorite game genre is a tie between farming simulators and Japanese Role-Playing Games (JRPG), I can recall playing some of my favorite JRPGs back in the day and I knew that things were going to be good when I opened the game case and saw not just one but TWO discs inside. This meant that I was in for an epic, lengthy campaign that would instruct me at a certain point in time that I would need to remove one disc and insert the next one to continue my story.
I think that's the feeling that I'm working with involving Checkpoint. I feel like we have set up our journey in an incredible way. But now it's time to insert the next disc and continue our adventure. Some things will evolve and get even better. Some things will be new and exciting. Sure, we'll be nostalgic for the start of the journey. But newness isn't bad. It's refreshing. It's exciting.
